What was the highlight of True Siam Phayathai Hotel

Nice hotel in a very good location

Nothing fancy but we liked the room and the fact there was a balcony where we enjoyed our first evening in Bangkok. The stuff was friendly and the room was clean. Location was amazing to get around Bangkok. We walked all the way to Sukhumvit and used Skytrain to go back and to Phaya Thai which is just a short walk from the hotel. We didn’t have breakfast so cannot say anything about that. The street where the hotel is located was quiet but it didn’t feel unsafe to walk around in the evening.

Air conditioning was fixed at one setting so I was a bit worried to get sick since I’m very sensitive to these things. Some might find the bed hard but we slept like babies.

Wonderful

location and price is great.There is a makeup mirror on the table, which is perfect.

The door gap is too big and the sound in the corridor cannot be isolated. You can add sound insulation strips.

Central location with a direct link (ARL) to the Airport (30-40 mins) Everything you need is quite close to the hotel. You can easily navigate around on Grab for just £3-5. Very spacious room with pretty modern interior, comfy bed and pillows

AirCon was a bit noisy to sleep with when enabled. A few large highways to cross on you way from the Hotel to anywhere which can be pretty tiring if you are trying to go by foot.

Clean rooms with good location.

Very clean room. The room size is amazing. Helpful polite staff. Location is a 7 min walk to the nearest bts station, which makes it convenient to easily reach out to most of the places you might need to go to in Bangkok. The hotel is located in a queen alley, which is an amazing thing to allow you to sleep peacefully. Overall, stay is great.

They only allowed me a 30 min late check out. Which I believe could have been more flexible, similar to other hotels in Bangkok. The nearest market is a 10 to 13 min walk.

The room was big and spacious. It was quiet and clean too. Loved the experience. It could have been better if it had a bigger leisure area and a pool as well. But highly satisfied with the room. Good job True Siam Staff.

Good size rooms

Really good sized room, lots of space to spread out and useful to have a couple of chairs to sit in. Was quiet at night to sleep, bed was comfy and staff were friendly. 5min walk to a supermarket which was handy to get water / snacks etc. and 5min walk to the train station which includes airport line (takes 30mins / train every 9min / 45B each)

Aircon only seemed to have on or off setting and didn’t get that cold, was also a little noisy. Towels smelt after one use, suspect they aren’t cleaned very well so kept having to change daily. Road to hotel doesn’t have a proper footpath, so often have to walk across drains to dodge mopeds / cars. There wasn’t any communal space in the hotel like a lobby / pool etc. and location wasn’t very close to any attractions. Need to walk 20-30min or get a train. Would also be great if they provided conditioner for the shower.

great location and nice staff

The location was quite good, 7-10 min walking distance to Phaya Thai Train station to the airport as well as to BTS (skytrain) station. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Staff was helpful.

Great value for money

Great location, near the Airport Link train and Skytrain. The room was huge and clean, the breakfast was delicious, the staff was nice. Extra plus point: money exchange at the reception!

The air conditioner was really loud in our room, it was not possible to put it to sleep mode at night.

A lovely hotel in a good location.

The location was excellent as it was a very short walk from Phaya Thai station. We had a very large bed in the room and a large walk in shower (and a bathtub we didn't use) too. The staff were also extremely friendly.

The breakfast was cold. I think if we wanted items you expect to be hot like eggs and pancakes, you need to be in the restaurant at 06:30 when it opens. There was also a safe but it wasn't bolted down, light weight, and could have easily been put into a suitcase so we didn't use it.
